The Bible – The Inspired Word of God
The Bible is not simply another book written by men. The Scriptures themselves tell us that “All scripture is given by inspiration of God” in Second Epistle to Timothy 3:16. The word inspiration means “God-breathed.” This tells us that the message of the Bible comes from God Himself.
Although the Bible was written by many different people over many years, they did not write their own ideas. The Bible says in Second Epistle of Peter 1:21 that “holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” God guided the writers so that His truth would be faithfully recorded.
Because the Bible is God’s Word, it is trustworthy and powerful. It teaches us about God, shows us our need of salvation, and points us to Jesus Christ. It also corrects us, guides us, and helps us live a life that pleases God.
The Bible is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. When we read it with an open heart, God speaks through it to encourage, teach, and strengthen us.
Let us therefore treasure the Scriptures, read them daily, and allow the Word of God to shape our lives.
God is a good God — God knows, God loves, and God cares.

“All for Jesus” means living our lives with Christ at the centre of everything we do. It means our thoughts, words, work, and actions are done to honour Him and reflect His love to others. Instead of living only for us, we seek to follow His teachings, trust His guidance, and give Him the glory for every blessing. In simple terms, it is a heart that says, Lord, my life belongs to You.
