Ireland, Christ Still Calls

Across the hills of emerald green,
Where tears and trials have often been,
The Saviour stands with open hands,
Still calling softly through the lands.

Above the shores and fields so wide,
He watches Ireland with love and pride,
Not with anger, not with shame,
But mercy flowing in His name.

For broken hearts and weary souls,
For shattered lives not yet made whole,
He sees the pain, He knows the fear,
And whispers gently, “I am here.”

The winds may howl, the night grow long,
Yet Heaven still sings redemption’s song,
For every soul who walks astray,
Christ still waits to light the way.

O Ireland, hear the Saviour’s plea,
“My child, come home again to Me.”
For Calvary’s cross still brightly stands,
And grace still flows through wounded hands.

So let the churches rise once more,
Let prayer be heard from shore to shore,
Let every heart and every home
Declare that Christ alone shall reign.

And may God’s Spirit flood the land,
With healing touch and mighty hand,
Till Ireland shines beneath His light,
And darkness turns again to bright.
