Poem -Psalm27
✍️ Poem:
When in Fear, Have Faith
(Psalm 27)
When shadows fall and fears arise,
And doubt like thunder fills the skies,
A quiet voice within my soul
Reminds me who is in control.
“The Lord my light, my saving grace,”
No darkness dares to hide His face,
Though trouble stands on every side,
In Him alone I will abide.
When enemies would press me near,
And whisper words designed for fear,
My heart will answer, strong and true,
“My God is greater—I’ll trust You.”
One thing I seek, one thing I know,
To walk with God where’er I go,
Not riches, fame, or fleeting breath,
But presence stronger far than death.
When tears fall down and prayers feel weak,
Still it is Him my heart will seek,
For faith is not a life untouched,
But trusting God when hurt is much.
“I would have fainted,” David cried,
Unless he knew God at his side,
So I will stand, though I feel small,
And wait upon the Lord through all.
Be strong, take heart, do not delay,
God’s goodness will not pass away,
When fear comes knocking at your door—
Let faith arise, and fear no more.
