ITS NOT MY FAULT
It’s not my fault I see things wrong,
When justice grows weak and truth’s not strong.
When laws seem broken, unfair, unwise,
And honesty fades before our eyes.
A nation stands when right is clear,
Not ruled by anger, greed, or fear.
For laws should guard both old and young,
And shield the weak from evil done.
Yet still we pray and still believe,
That truth will rise though hearts may grieve.
For governments change and kingdoms fall,
But God above still sees it all.
So let us speak with grace, not hate,
And trust the Lord to guide the state.
For though the world may lose its way,
God’s light can turn the night to day.
God is a good God.
God knows, God loves, God cares.
